I've always had a weakness for art done on the skin. Today there is tattooing, both permanent and temporary that is worth admiring. Henna, a temporary type of tattooing produced primarily on women, is done all throughout the Middle East and South Asia.
Henna is a plant that is reduced down to an ink and applied to the skin with a stylus and/or brush. There can be different colors of Henna used. Many times it is applied in celebration of an event such as marriage or giving birth, etc.
This type of tattooing can last as long as a month or longer, depending on how it is applied.
